Couple of things about this video:
Camera I used was Sony HDR-SR11 with Amphibico HD Elite housing.
The Wheelbarrow was saved from the bottom of the lake and I have used it many times after that.
The rubber duck and the balloon are also home with me.
None of the divers got any permanent damage either.
And yes, we had a lot of fun making this video.

The accident scene was about a mile from where I found Barney swimming. Our guess is that he was so freaked out and traumatized that he just wanted to get as far away from there as possible. And when he ran out of land, he took to the water. Another credible hypothesis is that he swam towards the kayak because the Chens are avid kayakers, and actually have two yellow ones.
Whatever the case, I feel lucky that I was there fishing, because there was no place for him to go and I don’t know if he could have made it much farther. He’s banged up, but mostly fine. Our hearts go out to the Chen family, who lost their mother.
UPDATE 2: Many people have asked what they can do in light of this terrible tragedy. I have been in touch with the Chen family. They suggested (and I wholeheartedly second) that you make a donation to Mothers Against Drunk Driving in the name of “Donna and Barney Chen” to help prevent this from happening again. NOTES:
* Yes, Barney is back with his family. I imagine they need him pretty bad right now. Dr. Chen reports that after the accident, Barney was suffering from what he thinks is something akin to Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. He was uncharacteristically lethargic, and they have even had to carry him outside. He seems to be pulling out of it a bit though.
* Why is there a camera running? I usually keep a camera running when I fish, in case I catch the big one. It does happen, occasionally (see other videos in my profile if you are interested)
* The kayak is a Hobie Adventure. It is a kayak made specifically for Fishing. When turned down, the side floats allow me to stand up and fish.
* My brother got my mom some shamwows a couple years back as a gag gift. As corny as they are, they actually are pretty nice for fishing

2012 Carp Fishing for 24hr over night session after carp on a small pond aiming for a big fish but with some pretty awful weather bobs bivvy was trashed and with broken poles and a missing overwrap at 1am it was far from a good nights sleep but we landed over 30 fish

You may live your life and never see anything like this! The entire Sebastian inlet was filled with pinfish. The tarpon, redfish and snook were so thick you could walk on them. We took a piece of stingray out for shark bait. While Josh was taking photos with the red, the Avet 80 started screaming! Jeff fought the shark and eventually the line broke. Jeff caught a two redfish (only one is shown in this video) and I caught a 44″ redfish. This was an amazing sight to see! Jahorace Epps helped film this video.

Succeed in winter Mackay Fishing Charter!! Insane Three Day Trip!!
http://www.reefari.com Come aboard Mako for a Mackay Fishing Charter for a three day non-stop fishing adventure. This fishing charter was for three days fishing Steven’s Reef and Charlie’s Bommie, about 75 nautical miles from Mackay in the middle of the Great Barrier Reef. Some awesome fishing action with a great session on spanish Mackerel, 8 in 45 minutes to get everyone well and truly pumped. That was just the start, We had to leave the fish biting as we were after the Prized Red Emperor. With Jason Kennedy onboard from Southern Cross’s TV show “Fishin Trip”, keen to film some excellant Reef fishing with Red emperors to be the stars. Look out for it showing in October, highlighting some serious Red Emperor fishing from Mackay. The reef fishing was awesome with multiple hookups, heaps of fish, with a huge variety caught, and some quality fish, as the video shows. We ended up with about a dozen Red Emperor, so definately can’t complain, heaps of Spanish Mackerel, and too many too others, too numerous to mention. A monster 10.5 kg Sharky Mackerel was definately a highlight, biggest I’ve seen. Sally our new skipper of Mako, caught the biggest fish, a 25kilo cod which was towed and released. Great to See, Mackay is really cementing it’s place as some of the best fishing on offer on the east coast of Australia.
Mako is a big comfy Steber 41 an ideal for a group of 6 for extended fishing charters to the Great Barrier Reef, The fishing is sensational and well worth doing at least once. Everything is included in our fishing charters with three days a great length to really get amongst the fishing action, have a few beers and relax as well. It’s a tuff life.

Funny Boy Fishing – Catches His First FISH!
Funny video of my son catching his first fish May 29, 2011. The fish Teddy named “Free” was released back into the water.
My 3 year old son has always loved adventures and has watched videos and clips with people catching fish however, he had never been on a Fishing trip until now. Teddy loves all kinds of fish whether they be salmon, large mouth bass, small mouth bass, catfish, goldfish, pike, trout and many others.
On this day while he had his fishing rod in the water a fish bit the fishing line without him knowing and when he pulled up on the fishing line the fish came flying out of the water and scared him.
After this exciting first catch, mommy and daddy just might take three year old Teddy on a fresh water boat charter or trip on another beautiful lake somewhere in Canada or United States. Maybe his second fish will be bigger than this fish.

Recovering wounded soldiers go fishing on Chappy
As part of the third annual American Heroes Saltwater Challenge, Beach Plum Inn and the Trustees of Reservations hosted a group of wounded soldiers at Cape Poge Wildlife Refugee on Chappaquiddick.
The wounded warriors spent the afternoon surfcasting. In the video, the MV Times Web Coordinator Yoojin Cho talks to Staff Sergeant Scott Beauchamp and Valence Scott, mother of Sergeant Robert Scott III.
