Terry Hearn: Carp Fishing

Terry Hearn is quite possibly the most famous carp angler in the UK. Fishing the estate lake at Eynsham Hall in Oxford he shows just why he appears to catch more carp than anyone else….providing he can get past the tench. After a couple of tinca’s took his bait, right at the death a lovely 20lb+ mirror carp came along to appear in front of the cameras.

Salmon Fishing Northern California

The fine taste of the King Salmon, fresh from today’s catch is like no other fish. All the fishermen onboard know and the action gets a little frantic when it is time to land the beautiful fish.

The waters off the coast of Northern California have been rich in the Salmon that gourmets love and that supplies valuable nutrition for the body.

As a fished is hooked shouts of “fish on” are heard and the chaos of landing it often involve the skipper, mate and other fishermen. With more than one fish online at a time the action is fast and furious.

When the limit of 2 fish per person the boat heads back to the harbor early “limited out” and full of happy people. The coast is beautiful and the sea mercifully and unusually calm.

RC Helicopter FISHING! Dave tries hand at “Heli Fishing”

For you skeptics who say the fish was dead, I assure you it wasn’t dead.

That said, I still risked my E-Flite Blade 400 for some entertainment for you
(I used 3 batteries, hence the cut) as fun and challenging for me.
I doubt most others would risk their $450 heli just to hover over the water, let alone dangle a line!

This scenario shows it may be possible to use the Helicopter for fishing, however it would be expensive Fishing.

It is always terribly windy here, so on this calm day, those simple waves in the water was of no concern to a sunfish!

It also helps to have lots of fish, like in our Sand Pit Pond where they bite on hooks with no bait! (actually I used fish eggs and the hook 24″ from the bobber.
Hey, you never know, if you don’t try!
***Caution from past experience***

If the Tail rotor hits the water even slightly, it will immediately cause a crash.
Big fish can drain batteries fast. It takes and hour to charge between flights of only 6 minutes, so this could be a long process to catch a fish.
Sunfish are not big fighters.
