What are some good lakes to go fishing and camping at in southern and central California?

Have only been in Ca a short while and fresh water Fishing is new to me. My family and I tried 2 places but both were pretty bad as far as the fishing went.

Lake Hemet’s a good spot you can camp right on the lake shore, good fishing there for trout, catfish.

Lake Silverwood has good fishing for strippers, bass and trout. Campground is up from the lake.

lake Perris has good bass and cat-fishing, nice bike trails.

Different Dog-types Healthy Nutritional Needs

As companions the first dogs dogs were undoubtedly kept, however it probably did not take long to realize the working value of mans new friend.

Even before the history of dogs was recorded, these pets were helping man for a variety of purposes, mainly to hunt for food. In those days, however, Hunting was not a sport, but serious hard work.

Today the nature of a dog’s job has taken on a different form. You will find he is still helping us in the search for food but this is normally for a different reason.

Whatever the purpose or nature of the job, the performance of work always requires time expenditure of energy. As a consequence, every working dog’s primary dietary need is increased energy. Whenever dietary energy is increased, those B-complex vitamins, minerals, and the water necessary for burning the energy must also be increased.

Working dogs require most nutrients at no greater levels than non-working dogs. And if it wasnt for the increased need for energy and the nutrients to burn it you wouldn’t have to do anything. However when working dogs eat large quantities of ordinary maintenance dog foods to obtain all of the energy they need, they will frequently consume some of the nutrients in excessive amounts. This may also cause them to eat such large quantities that the digestibility of all the nutrients in their diet are also adversely affected. Which will cause some nutrients to be be obtained in inadequate amounts.

Working dogs simply cannot, physically, eat all of the food it needs to supply the required energy. When this happens the dog will suffer due to the lack of total digestible energy, and he will lose weight. If this condition is permitted to continue, your dog will stop working for you as his body just tells him too. This is really to the body acting so as to reduce its caloric demands. If you then force the dog to continue working at the same pace, it will lose weight faster and faster, and eventually its going to work itself to death.

Herd Dogs are the most common working dogs that are fed in the United States. Herd Dogs are dogs that wattle or protect animals use the least amount of extra energy of any of the working dogs. They seldom are required to expend energy in excess of normal activity for any duration of time. Even their short-term expenditures of energy are not very great. The only time herd dogs ever utilize large amounts of energy are when they are rounding up strays, ost or semi-wild animals running at large.

Apartment Hunting Tips

Apartment Hunting can be very daunting for some potential renters. Often the variety of options available to these renters is a source of overwhelming frustration for the renters. With so many appealing options it can be difficult to choose just one. However, there are some tips which can help to ease the process of apartment hunting. The process of finding the perfect apartment can be broken down into three simple steps. The first step is to set a budget. Next the renter should research their available options and then comparison shop to determine which option is the best.

Set a Budget First

For many renters the most important consideration is how much they are willing to spend on an apartment per month. For this reason it should come as no surprise that the first step in the apartment hunting process should include establishing a budget. Renters should consider their monthly income and subtract out all of their monthly expenses from this amount. Monthly expenses should include all bills which are paid regularly as well as money spent on food, entertainment and miscellaneous items each month. The renter may also wish to subtract out an additional amount to allow for some savings each month as well as emergencies. The total left after these subtractions is the amount the renter is able to spend on an apartment per month. Once this amount is established the renter will have a better understanding of the type of apartment they are able to afford.

Research Available Properties

Once a budget has been established, the renter should begin researching the properties which fall within his budget range. It is likely to consider properties which are slightly above the range as well as properties which are slightly below the range. Doing this will allow the renter to see if there is an opportunity to either make improvements on the amount of monthly spending to allow for the renting of a more expensive property. The renter can also determine whether or not they feel there is the opportunity to negotiate a lower rental rate on a particular property.

When initially researching properties, the renter does not necessarily have to visit each property. Most of the pricing information can be obtained from resources such as Internet websites, newspapers and rental magazines. Since pricing is the primary concern at this point, the initial research will enable the renter to eliminate properties which are too far out of their price range.

Comparison Shop

Once the renter has narrowed down his list of possible apartment complexes to a more manageable number it is time to start visiting these properties. It is during this step that the renter will really get a feel for the quality of the apartment as well as the amount and quality of amenities offered by the complex. This is very important because this information can be used to decide between properties which are otherwise very similar.

The comparison shopping process is also worthwhile because it gives the renter some bargaining power in negotiating more favorable rent rates. Renters who have visited a number of apartments likely have a good idea of the going rate in a particular area for a particular size apartment. These renters can use this information to potentially convince some leasing agents to lower their prices at least a little bit. There will not likely be huge drops in price from these negotiations but it will likely be enough to be considered worthwhile.

P.S. I bought it because i perfer a light pole over a Rhyno medium pole i used too use.

To answer your first question, a Shakespeare Ugly Stik rod will handle anything you can possibly throw at it. Available in many different weights/lengths, it is one of the strongest, least expensive rods on the market.

It is called a spinning rod because it goes with a spinning, or open-faced reel. The spool and bail spin, taking up line.

RC Helicopter FISHING! Dave tries hand at “Heli Fishing”

For you skeptics who say the fish was dead, I assure you it wasn’t dead.

That said, I still risked my E-Flite Blade 400 for some entertainment for you
(I used 3 batteries, hence the cut) as fun and challenging for me.
I doubt most others would risk their $450 heli just to hover over the water, let alone dangle a line!

This scenario shows it may be possible to use the Helicopter for fishing, however it would be expensive Fishing.

It is always terribly windy here, so on this calm day, those simple waves in the water was of no concern to a sunfish!

It also helps to have lots of fish, like in our Sand Pit Pond where they bite on hooks with no bait! (actually I used fish eggs and the hook 24″ from the bobber.
Hey, you never know, if you don’t try!
***Caution from past experience***

If the Tail rotor hits the water even slightly, it will immediately cause a crash.
Big fish can drain batteries fast. It takes and hour to charge between flights of only 6 minutes, so this could be a long process to catch a fish.
Sunfish are not big fighters.

Fly easy and thanks for watching.
I hope you found this entertaining.

Be sure to subscribe for more unique stuff from Mr.Herbert’s Science Class.
and yes, I’m going to try it again, so stay tuned.
